A small detailed chart of the approaches to Macao published in the Dutch edition of Captain James Cook's "Three Voyages". In December 1779, 10 months after Cook's death in Hawaii, the Cook expedition stopped at Macao. The chart shows the approach to Macao from the south with the sheltered anchorage and the Macao promontory.
