This very rare and important Spanish copper-plate engraving shows the waterfront of Guangzhou. The impressive edifices of the foreign trading establishments dominate the center of the engraving. In front of these buildings are flagpoles with each country's flags. At the bottom, a detailed lettered key identifies the principal buildings and activities.
- Hand colored
- Library's copy with small tear and repair to middle of left side just intruding into the image and backed on verso. Small tear to top margin not affecting engraved area. Slight browning
